Proposed HB 447 Required Instruction in the History of African Americans

Today, Representative Trabulsy, District 85, filed a bill to encourage the incorporation of local Florida African American history through African American cemeteries in social studies education. The bill aims to elevate local Florida African American history, offer preservation of cemetery history through education, and ensure African American veteran service, sacrifice, and lived experiences are included in Florida education.
